yes, and this is the case for both licensed subs and fansubs, the anime is aired in japan and then the raw, untranslated video and audio is sent to a company to sub (e.g., crunchyroll) OR a group of fans will download the raw from however it was aired (much easier with streaming nowadays) and sub it themselves (e.g., Commie Subs)

Yup, I loved the fight; the only thing I don't understand is why they removed Ryo's multipliers.
When he fights the demon, he uses "4 icicle lance" and "8 icicle lance", then 16. 32, 64...
Then the demon goes "is this all you got" and he starts 128, 256...
Which is such a cool detail to make us grasp what he's actually capable of.really good episode, and even better fight scene. i really like where this series is seemingly headed. the reveal of not only demons as a race, but also of multi-elemental magic was surprising, but very welcomed. id love to see our main character using all types of fighting in different scenarios! also youre meaning to seriously tell me this man was looking at abel with these eyes and isnt in love with him?

12 episodes will not be enough for this anime with the pace it's going. I mean, I don't want them to pick up the pace and skip stuff, but I wish it had more episodes, cause it might just end at 12 episodes and never see a sequel.
With enough popularity we might get 2nd season, but instead of thinking about it, let's just enjoy current season
From the very first episode, this show has been consistently mediocre, if not straight up "bad". The pacing is nonexistent with a disjointed narrative. Characters appear out of nowhere, with little to no prior development or explanation for their appearance. Furthermore, the show struggles with its explanations. Events are overly simplified and explained in a patronizing manner, as if addressing a small child (episode 1), while simultaneously, most other plot points remain totally unexplained. Overall, the show is a profoundly disappointing.
I haven't read the manga, so I didn't have any particular expectations. I don't think it's a masterpiece, but I wouldn't be that harsh.
I don't understand why that character isn't more curious about what's happening to him. Like that demon, the eclipse or the fairy king, the gifts... He seems to accept everything as if it were normal, or as if it were his due, and never asks any questions.
But I'm still curious to see where this is going.
Good episode if you compare it to the other two, this one was better, although I liked the second one too, but in this one the first half was kind of meh, but then with the appearance of the demon it got interesting, the fight scenes were good, especially the part with the rain when time stopped, that was tuff. I just missed the elf's appearance again in this episode, I hope she shows up in the next one. Mid to good so far.
