The colors were so cool.
He wasn't even using 10% of his power type thing.
They had so much fun.
Yuta basically coming out of nowhere and just stealing the show from everybody else.
But I don't know why, but this episode almost felt like watching a different anime at some points. Not sure if I am plain wrong but it feels like they really jump around with the overall artstyles they use this season.
Still, I can't wait for part 2!
How did you enjoy it?Had to lower my rating for the first 2 seasons because of how groundbreaking this season was. So refreshingly creative, that even though i read the manga just last year I still get so excited before a new episode. I'll miss the director's vision but can't wait to see what they have in store for season 4.
There will be part 2 before season 4! But I have no doubt they will go for the full adaption either way.
I saw the jjk account call part 2 season 4 so they might have just done and re zero
Ahh yes I just saw that as well! Nvm me then. S4 it is.
Is it just me who finds that kind of odd? Why not just make it one season.
They wanted to get the season out as fast as possible after season 2. If they made it a 24 episode season it would have probably taken 1-2 years longer.
Important to get those shows out while the hype is still big. Same reason why part 2 is of course already announced.
What an unbelievable end to what has been an equally unbelievable season. This really felt like Goshozono’s vision, completely unfiltered and fully realized and what a vision it turned out to be. I don’t even feel worthy trying to talk about it in any conventional sense. It's nothing less than a medium-defining show. This is the kind of show that makes me stop and wonder how often we actually get to witness something this technically impressive and visually distinct. If someone unironically hates everything about this, they might need to be checked up on. More than anything, I just hope this isn’t the last we see of Goshozono storyboards and direction on this series. Whether it’s Season 4, Part 2, or whatever form it takes, I need to see this creative voice continue. Nothing but absolute respect, admiration, and borderline worship for everyone who worked on this.
That was one amazing episode, like the action and them frankly removing some narrations, especially the scene of yuta with the painting of fujiwara (no clue if the painting was actually of fujiwara ) behind him when speaking to Uro, nice end to the season.
maybe I got too hyped up by the Twitter leakers but personally hard to say it's my eoty when I prefer maki one over this as the comp and backgrounds in this episode were nothing special, the quality of drawings too in episode 4 was higher. I assume some of stuff in this episode will be polished in the blu-ray too, so looking forward to those.
looking forward to the next part
Should I get these 2 new characters from this episode?
Was the dude just looking for someone strong to fight?
And her...what's her deal?
I might not understand english enough to get it...
Ishigori definetely wanted an equal fight, someone strong enough to push him to his limits regardless of rather or not he wins, he sees it like a dessert, so much of it and of such fine quality that you can eat to your fill.
Uro is a bit more complicated, from what I can gather she knew someone from Yuta's bloodline, we know Yuta is related to the Gojo clan and from the text and dialogue in this episode we can gather that she was probably a part of an assassination squad that used sorcerers as tools (meaning they were not allowed to have their own personality or their own identity) and this Fujiwara person (that was the name I think) was someone that gave her a name, an identity simply to discard her and blame her for a crime he committed. That was what I was able to deduce from this episode, don't remember if the manga went deeper into it, but I think not.
I do think they could've done more with these two and I especially would've loved to see their domains (again, don't remember if they show their domain, a lot of this arc is a bit blurry in my memory)
Even though I knew exactly what would happen, this episode blew my mind and made my body shiver with pure hype. God. The triple Domain Expansion gave me goosebumps. What an insane finale. I can't wait for the next part of the season. This is probably my second favorite episode of this season part (with Maki's episode a definitive number one). I love to be a jujutsu kaisen fan.
This was a bit too peak the quality of this whole season has been cinema-level that's for sure and am glad they did a magnificent job with sendai colony even though i was a bit afraid when i heard this was a 27 min ep but they did a very great job either way this season has been peak and my guess is that part 2 will come in probably summer 2027 or maybe fall 2027 either way i am definitely waiting that long for this cinema quality and its been a really great season overall looking forward to next the part.
They really like to fly past the dialogue, inner thoughts and characterization of the cast of the manga, huh
Animation looks good though, can't deny that. Still prefer the manga
I genuinely don't understand how they expect anyone to be able to keep up with all this without pausing and rewinding constantly, thereby disrupting the flow of the fights they clearly spent so much time and effort to ensure they look fluid and intense. It's even worse when the narrator butts in at random to expound the most esoteric bullshit I've ever heard in my life in an attempt to "explain" what's happening onscreen, as if any of it actually matters. At least with something like Demon Slayer--which is similarly carried by art and animation--you could actually fully understand what's going on at any given moment no matter how chaotic the action gets. I'm not even trying to hate on this show, but everything after the first season has genuinely become the most turn-your-brain-off-and-enjoy-the-pretty-colors anime I think I've ever seen.
Some of you complain without thinking. Why would they expect anything when they make it for a japanese audience? Do the Americans who make fast paced action movies like F&F think about the poor foreigners who wont be able to follow it all with the subtitles? They don't and shouldn't care.
Edit: I like how i'm the only one he hasnt responded to cause he cant debunk the logic.
Nobody's forcing you to watch the anime, and if you're going to complain about nonsense maybe you should think twice before you actually get on the keyboard and write the garbage you just wrote. If you actually want to get what's happening go grab the manga and start reading
And nobody's forcing you to interact with me or the "garbage" I wrote, yet you still did it anyway. I'm sorry my opinion about your favorite anime, which is just as valid as yours btw, hurt your feelings to that extent. No one should be required to go out of their way to experience the same story in an entirely different medium just to get what's happening.
As I said, I don't even hate this anime, but I guess the fact that you can criticize something while still enjoying it isn't something you can wrap your head around.
You are far too self centered lol the artist don’t make art for the “public” they make it for themselves. This was the intended version of the story they wanted to depict and there is nothing you can do about it other than describe it or modify it. Whining about trivial things is boring and your attempt at an explanation could not be any worse.
Can only describe or modify it?! I'm very much allowed to share my opinion on it and criticize it; in fact, this whole thread was created for that exact purpose! Furthermore, they wouldn't release it for the public in the first place if they didn't expect any discourse surrounding it. Even paintings in museums can be critiqued. If you're willing to just mindlessly consume product and look forward to more product, then that's fine, you do you, but not everyone will do the same. You say that I'm "whining about trivial things," but how are you any better for whining about my whining? I didn't even offer any attempt at an explanation in my original comment, so I have no idea what you're talking about there.
Aside from the animation, this season really has been mid. Like story? Nowhere to be seen, characters? Meh maybe yuji, yuta and maki are the highlights of the season. But that's it.
Animation is good don't get me wrong but these fights really are just noise.
JJK being carried by animation this season imo
Note: This episode's animation really was rough around the edges. It felt like the schedule was so bad at the end of this season.
Peak animation and best of the season for me. 10/10! Unfortunate that we have to wait for season 4 until next year but it’s so worth it.
The space dandy looking character was my random favorite of this episode. I can see the cosplayers going crazy over it after this xD
Not only was this season amazing in so many ways. The fans, the drama & the culture that JJK has been apart of and has made is wonderful to experience first hand. Excited for more next year.
Peak Ep
NOOO, Yuta, not the cockroach kiss.
Damn, Uro quick with it.
Uro fine asf.
Parkour Yuta in full effect
Ooooh, they throwing hands like crazy.
Ryu got a goddamn Kamehameha in his hair. Josuke looking ahh.
Cockroach finally dead.
The clash of cursed energy was simply insane. Usage of the OP was amazing.
The world lucky that Yuta ain't evil, "Copy" is just too broken of a CT.
The 3 way deadlock was amazing. Good lord, them drawings, animation, effects. Simply mind blowing.
Prime Sukuna looks great.
This ep adapted ch 174-180, and abt half of 181.
10/10
JJK S3 P1: 9.5/10
