Had to lower my rating for the first 2 seasons because of how groundbreaking this season was. So refreshingly creative, that even though i read the manga just last year I still get so excited before a new episode. I'll miss the director's vision but can't wait to see what they have in store for season 4.

  There will be part 2 before season 4! But I have no doubt they will go for the full adaption either way.

  Is it just me who finds that kind of odd? Why not just make it one season.

  They wanted to get the season out as fast as possible after season 2. If they made it a 24 episode season it would have probably taken 1-2 years longer.
  
  Important to get those shows out while the hype is still big. Same reason why part 2 is of course already announced.

  Even the 'dull' scenes had such creative direction choices to make it more watchable

  Ep 3 encapsulates that. "Dullest" episode of the season and I already know all the rules, but they still made it so engaging with how they depicted the scenes and the voice acting.
