  i mean i could muster up the gall to watch it but the impression it gives off literally everywhere is screaming not to watch it you lowk got my respect for acc managing to watch it bcs you do understand it doesnt have the BEST reputation right

  Thing is, at this point it doesn't matter if the show is good or not, the hate is already rolling and nothing will help it. When the first season was released, people didn't know it would drag on at that point and it was "well" received all in all, staying at around 7.6 rating overall. First's season score today is 6.8, meaning that people literally decide to go back in time and review bomb it because the later seasons were worse.
  
  I do agree it's just an okay show with some great moments here and there, but the hate is simply forced at this point. There is genuinely an amazing arc coming soon, but people will instantly bomb the score and reviews online no matter how bad/good it gets. I wouldn't be surprised if one day, some of the seasons will have score below 6, and there is no way in hell it is as bad of a watch if you compare it to other animes that sit between 6 and 7 score.

  If you think the Anime is ragebait, you should try the manga. Though thankfully, it does seem that after 9ish years it is finally, actually wrapping up.

  Some people are able to internalize fiction as for what it is and enjoy feeling emotions that may not be considered positive as a healthy outlet.
