for someone who has read the light novel, i did see this coming and i was still shocked O.O since im not a fan on watching/reading about that.

Though i do feel like they could've dialed it down quite a lot because it IS a anime aimed toward the young teenage audience; i honestly just feel sorry for the animators XD

but all in all i loveeeee how the episode progressed after that- kicking it in with that SAO fight music :D

I do feel like too much time was spent of this specific scene though; like for me personally i feel like episode 7/8 were quite rushed and could've used more time to wrap it up nicer.
