They're Cocoa's and Chiya's classmate, if you still remember the school festival arc a few episodes ago.

This is personally the most important episode throughout all of Gochiusa in terms of what supernatural things have been happening in this world. For people like me who like to read deeper into this series and see what Koi wrote between the lines, it's honestly quite the playfield. I will also be talking about the WWII Theory and setting up my own theory, so if you're interested please make sure to give it a read!
Every time we get to see more Chiya, I respect her even more. She put so much effort and time into decorating Ama Usa An just for Halloween and this all by herself. We also get a bit of foreshadowing about the latter half of the episode with Cocoa preparing a magic trick. And Halloween being an event in which ghosts may come back to life...
Rabbit House:
After the OP we get greeted with MaMe's wolf(?) and Rabbit House's vampire costumes! Unlike real vampires, Cocoa is after cuddles rather than blood however~
Rize also exposing Chino's practice behind the scenes were also quite adorable. It reminds us of the last episode, where we got explicitly told how much effort Chino has been putting into in order to become someone customers, people and rabbits like to be around. Due to the embarrassment, she ended up playfully biting Rize to make her stop. Would you have expected the Chino from S1 Ep 1 to ever do something? It does show quite the development from Chino as well as the relationship between her and Rize. You also hear Cocoa being envious about it and honestly, don't we all want to be bitten by such a cute vampire? I sure do! Love the CocoChino scenes going strong yet again!
Fleur de Lapin:
After getting their loot from Rabbit House, MaMe's journey continue to Fleur de Lapin where their next victim Syaro, who wears the
Little Red Riding Hood costume, awaits. Just like almost any holiday, Syaro works on these days as well. With a lot of people taking the day off to enjoy themselves, she has to take advantage of the employees usually paying one more than usual when working on such days. Especially because she is poor. It's honestly so sad every time I think about it and it shows on MaMe's face as well.
Also to those of you who are curious about why Syaro's situation is the way it is. It will be explained later on, don't worry about. Unfortunately by the time we reach that part, it's probably in Season 5. So you can either read the manga or ask me to find it out directly if it really does interest you. Coming back to Syaro and MaMe, even though they've come to loot Fleur de Lapin, they ended up giving an equal amount of candies back to Syaro as this is the most they can do for Syaro and her situation. MaMe are so thoughtful and mature in reality, it makes them all the more loveable <333
On their way to Ama Usa An:
If you think about this entire Halloween thing, MaMe are basically the wolves going place to place, ready to take possessions (candies) from their prey. However in both Rabbit House and Fleur de Lapin, it didn't really end up happening like this. Why I am telling you this is so you make sense of this scene that the Anime omitted.
Ama Usa An:
Their last destination is Ama Usa An, with Chiya in a witch costume already greeting them. And as always when Deyui gets to talk about Chiya it gets SADD. We end up getting to know that Chiya was not only acting according to her role, but rather, she actually cut herself and her hand genuinely hurts. It was omitted in the Anime, but the wound happened as she was trying to carve out pumpkins for Halloween. Which makes all of her preparations for Ama Usa An even more impressive. Also Chiya isn't the kind of person who would show everyone her weakness and make people worry about her, which can be seen pretty much the next scene with her and Rize, but also by countless other scenes in the past. So her being unable to hide this fact from MaMe doesn't mean she's a wimp, it means the injury is more severe than you think it is. Of course, my two adorable and considerate wolves catch onto it and decided to help her out for today. Unlike Rabbit House, she gets a lot of customers and having to do it with an injured arm while being most likely fatigued by the preparations are just too much and I couldn't praise my two little girls any more than that for understanding this situation in the blink of this situation. After helping Syaro they do not hesitate to be even more precious to Chiya. My heart can't take all of this...
In the next scene we get to see more of Maya's inside joke (Level Up). For Maya, she sees things in life in the same perspective of a game, it's a huge personality trait of hers and we're now finally being reminded of it. Of course that doesn't mean that she takes things lightly and doesn't think of her actions. Most likely, at one point of her life, she saw no interest in life. So in order to lie herself into it, she turned life into something she was indeed interesting at, which was games. Unlike many of my claims in analysis, this one doesn't have any basis upon it, but rather, it's just based upon my own experiences, so you may ignore it. Anyways, many may have forgotten about it since the last time was in S1 Ep 10.
Rize & Chiya:
This scene didn't seem to have any particular significance to it, other than showing off how really hardworking and selfless Chiya is. However that's because the Anime omitted an important part about it. Which is showing how close the two have become. As the two of them walk side by side together home to Ama Usa An they had a little talk. Rize was basically telling her to be more careful and ask for help when she needs it. But she didn't say it straightforward, she just referenced her own incident. Which is what happened back in S2 Ep 02. She didn't need to say anymore, because she knows that Chiya will understand with just that. After all, the both of them are the mother and the father of this group. And I think that's beautiful.
In the end we also see Syaro waiting for Chiya. The moment Syaro heard that Chiya was injured she immediately went to the next shop to buy her the medicine she needs. It may not seem much, but I think we're underestimating the circumstances of it. Medicines, in general, are pretty expensive, I think and for Syaro who barely has any money left to spend on herself doesn't even think twice of spending the money just for Chiya. It's honestly TOO PRECIOUS: THIS SERIES IS TOO PRECIOUS THESE CHARACTERS ARE MORE HUMAN THAN I AM. GOCHIUSA IS MORE THAN JUST CGDCT IT TEACHES YOU ABOUT LIFE AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE MY MIND.
First thing, after seeing familiar faces in the background, we get to see is cute Lapin Chino and Police Officier Rize!
I'd also like to point out the funny scene that the Anime omitted.
We get to see more spicy SyaroRize scenes. To believe Syaro was really shy around Rize not too long ago, here she is asking her wife to wear the costume she is currently wearing :')
Now panning back to Cocoa, who looked really cute in the manga when lost.
All right now the serious stuff is happening this episode. First we hear Cocoa saying that this is the town she's been living in, however something is unusual about it. She crashed into a lost child who ends up crying and as an aspiring Onee-chan, she couldn't let this opportunity slip to help the kid out. Unfortunately, she failed all of her magic tricks to cheer the kid up and the mom picked up her child. After quite the rude remark, Cocoa is left with nothing but defeat. She has lost her pride as an Onee-chan in this very moment and ended up crying as well. I want to point out how serious this situation is. We see Cocoa screaming and being loud all the time, that's right. But this might be the first time in the entire series in which Cocoa genuinely cried due to being sad. Like I mentioned countless times previously. Ever since she arrived to this town, almost everything she has been doing is to become an Onee-chan like her big sister. Seeing how after years of practice, she wasn't even able to save one little child... This situation did in fact break her a little... It broke her and me... And now the aspiring Onee-chan ended up being the crying lost child.
Until a ghost appeared before her, managing to perfectly do the magic tricks she was trying to do herself a few minutes ago and cheered the lost child up the way Cocoa wanted to not too long ago. At that moment, Cocoa knew she wanted to be like her.
The person also had an angora rabbit on top of her head that looked like Tippy. However due to the feminine look (indicated by the eyelashes), Cocoa knew it wasn't him. The ghost is in fact Chino's mother "Saki" and the actual Tippy.
I've written far too much for today, so I'll keep it short.
Chino looking at the end of the day to the starry skies after Chiya said that their ancestors are now ready to leave for heaven is because she is worried about Tippy maybe finally leaving her at the end of the day as well. However, Tippy smart and thoughtfully notices it and reassured that right now is not the time, do not worry. As a response, she cuddles Tippy really cutely, showing appreciation towards Tippy for being there for her. As the old saying goes "You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone" and today, might have been the day she also lost Tippy. So say I appreciate you to the people you like once in a while.
Also to understand the latter half of this episode better, I recommend you watching ~Sing For You~ OVA if you haven't already.
We also get to see Cocoa showing off her magic tricks she learned from Saki, I already went in-depth about it in my theory post. Lastly, here are the eyecatches in the manga that I highly recommend to see.
Manga Eyecatch 1 | Eyecatch 2
Either way, thanks for reading. I've been writing this for probably 4 hours already, so I'm going to head back to learning. Thanks for reading everyone, questions and replies are appreciated! See you next week!

Episode 3 covers Vol. 5 Ch. 10 and half of Ch. 11, I am not sure whether they'll cover the rest of it in the next episode, but if they don't, then you can expect me to cover it for you. The title "Everything in the World Serves as My Experience Points" also comes from Chapter 10.
Starting off the episode we see Aoyama reading a book on a boat, as always, being in the most unpredictable places. Afterwards, we get into an Anime original scene, in comparison to other episodes this season, I felt like this one had the most original scenes. With Cocoa's and Chino's conversation (I also appreciate that the "Welcome! Come on!" phrase is being used more often), it is confirmed that this series does have a flow of time and that Chino will be going to high school and thus the others will also be going to college (if we ever get to that point). That also means that their ages have also changed from the beginning, which I'd like to point out. Basic summary of everyone's ages now at the time of this episode:
Chino: 14
Cocoa: 16-17
Chiya 16-17
Syaro: 16-17
Rize: 17
Megu and Maya's age didn't get revealed in the manga and thus cannot be confirmed. However, it is highly likely that they are also 14 years old like Chino if nothing out of ordinary happened in their life. We also don't really know what month of the year it is right now, so Cocoa, Chiya and Syaro may or may not have had their birthday this year already.
Megu basically was indirectly asking Chino and Maya to come with her on that event since she would have been nervous going alone. Chino would be happy to accompany her, but Maya doesn't have a good impression of that school, however. She doesn't like formalities at all, which she likes to call in the Anime translation "Salutations" Syndrome, the fan translation of the manga translated it as the "How do you do" syndrome for those who will be reading the manga. Speaking of Maya and formalities, if any of you noticed, she is the only character in the cast to not refer to any characters with any honorifics. Not any -san, -chan, or any of that kind, which is considered to be really informal in Japan. So from that, one could have deduced from the beginning that she will have issues adapting to that environment.
After 2 Seasons we finally get to meet Chiya's and Cocoa's classmates, which is surprising since most series of that type focus a lot on the school part of a high school girls' life. However, Koi-sensei intentionally didn't choose to cover it, which makes sense as the various events to be done there are very limited and focusing on this will make Gochiusa feel repetitive and similiar to other SoL series'. So now after 2 Seasons, I am sure that a lot of the viewers are happy to finally see high schoolers actually do something high school like.
The names of their classmates have all already been confirmed here, if you'd like to read about it.
Considering the reaction of their classmates on Chiya & Cocoa being in charge of their culture festival project it does seem they goof around in school as much they do outside when we see them. When these two get together it sure will be fun as they bring the most dorkiest side of each other to the surface. However when it counts and when no one is watching, they both actually try their best on their work and have worries. Whether it may be improving Ama Usa An or being able to bake the most delicious bread. And it also can be seen when the both of them are on their way back home. Chiya may joke around and put up a farce, but she actually has worries and the only one she spills these beans to is Cocoa. And as we know, Cocoa is the best person you could ask for to cheer you up. That scene where Cocoa comforted Chiya was precious.
The next few scenes are all Anime original as well. Rabbit House talking about the culture festival, Chiya and Syaro talking together as well as Chino and Cocoa.
What stuck out to me is that Chino has now opened up herself enough to Cocoa where she lets her hair dry on Cocoa's bed, openly smiles sometimes in their conversation and now even teases her.
Speech:
In this speech scene, few things are different in the Anime from the Manga. In the manga, Maya actually almost slept during Rin's speech. Furthermore, Chino's scene about encounters that may change your life also didn't happen in the manga. CocoChino undertones are very much appreciated however :3
When the speech finished and Maya tried her worst on her "Salutations" impression, I was really surprised by how good they adapted that part. Really happy to see that it was very faithfully adapted from the manga.
As MayaChino and Megu got separated they each find one of their senpais, who help them to find each other. What I particularly found sad is that Syaro wasn't able to carry out any of her plans she had with the sales and stuff, because she helped ChinoMaya. She even put time off of work just to visit these sales...
The meaning of Beans in Gochiusa:
As ChinoMayaSyaro joined the tea party in that prestigious school, Maya recommended Bean Sprouts for ingredients. This is more than just a random food that she picked. Bean is actually written Mame (豆) in Japanese, which is basically Maya & Megu's group name. Speaking of group names, Petit Rabbit is the group name of the 5 characters: Chino, Cocoa, Rize, Syaro, Chiya. That's why for example the song "セカイがカフェになっちゃった!" is performed by "Petit Rabbits with beans".
Reunited:
Throughout their adventure to find each other, they all came to know the school better and Maya seems to like the school now. The scene where they found each other also was really funny in the manga.
Things got cleared up in the end and we get to know Maya much more now. Unlike how her behaviour suggests, she is actually "the smartest" from Chimame. Being able to constantly get good grades at school and ended up getting a chance to be a scholarship student at this prestigious school. Not only is she smart, she also has a lot of worries and is shy talking about it. She was already worried about which school to go to in Season 2 and asked Rize for help without talking to Chino and Megu about it. And this time, now that she got the recommendation for this school, she has been worrying about this herself again. There's many things more, but like I believe in, every character in this series has more to it than you expect. Every character has a sad backstory to them contrary to the belief of others and this is one of the reasons why I like this series.
Lastly, Chiya and Cocoa join them as they were borrowing decorations and stuff for the culture festival. This scene kind of has an antithesis feel to it. Although all of them are from different schools and that they may also possibly split up in the future, which is kind of the topic right now in this episode, they are now here wearing all the same uniform as if they were all from the same school. However, they showed us, you don't need to be classmates or be in the same school to be close friends and I think this scene is really wonderful. Also Yura as well as Rin has showed some appearances this episode here and there, hopefully many will remember them this season at least.
No Screencaps this time because I am unable right now to provide them, hope it's still fine. Either way, hope you guys liked this episode and maybe consider interacting with the community in its subreddit or Discord! As always, if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them and would be the best person to ask them to. They put a lot of foreshadowing for future events into this episode, which I would love to talk about, but yeah uh, can't be doing that. Would ruin the experience so I'll just have to suck that up.
