Actually, I'm watching all three of them when I want to feel "many emotions". =)

As much as I love both of these, I have to disagree on these points. While yes, both of them have some good comedy and heartwarming moments, for the most part I cried a lot and then felt depressed as hell; they certainly didn't cheer me up, quite the contrary.
That being said, I'm not the only person in the universe, so yeah, YMMV. :)

Clannad? Kanon? I'm not sure if that will cheer anyone up, lol.
