People are talking about this show as if that ending was THE ending. As if the aftermath of r#pe isn't a long process that can't be wrapped up in an episode (as you can see). Just because Kiruko says "You can't be depressed forever" doesn't mean he actually means that or has had enough time to process what he's just experienced. The second season could very well explore the psychological aftermath of a victim of r#pe further.

I'm shocked because half way through the series I very well expected that this season wouldn't be enough to solve all the mysteries and expected a sequel. The whole of the last episode had little hints that there is more to the story, more to unpack.
