I think it's a very fitting opening for the show. The break from the creepy fantasy world where they try to save people who committed suicide and are trying to move on from their trauma taking a quiet, reflective, and foreshadowing moment before episodes that is eerily calming, especially considering the show, really ropes me back into the whole experience each week, just like that.
Thank you I appreciate the help.

Hunter x Hunter 2011
If he's a newbie and likes AoT he should really check out Hunter X Hunter ofc. HxH is always one of my go-to rec's because it's a dumb fun shounen that still covers some more serious themes and has some of the best world and character building out there. The only issue with it would be that the start of it is pretty slow, so he might drop out early, but I promise that if he sticks with it he'll fall in love.
Reminder that if he's watching on Hulu or Netflix that they cut off at the last two arcs for whatever reason, so he'll have to find them elsewhere.
Everybody makes their hobbies available to be seen on the outside to some extent. People take pride in their interests a lot of the time. It's a common thing that a lot of people do with their hobbies, like why do the football team wear their jerseys to school? Probably because they take pride in what they do and want to tell everybody else about their passion without having it actually interfere with normal discussions. The same thing applies to people who enjoy watching anime and wear clothing related to it or talk about it with their friends. It's not that it's their "personality" per se, otherwise anyone who partakes in anything related to their hobbies is "making it their personality", rather they want to tell the people around them that they really like whatever they have on, or surround themselves with.
