There's like a sequel but it hasn't been fully translated yet. But from my understanding they did get together in the end and had children. It's telling the reader that love is a piece of cake if you set aside your worries and trauma from past relationships and focus on what you have now. I feel like the ending was more rushed so the reader can interpret it more, I actually rlly liked it.
