I don't know what kind of genre you like (besides slice of life and romance it seems) but I was a HUGE fan of Yona of the Dawn. Its not really like a fluff anime because it does have like a pretty good plot and character development and such but I started it one night in the kinda mood you were describing and then proceeded to not sleep until I finished it because I loved it so much.
If you're going for more of a fluff romance though I'd recommend A whisker away (which is a movie) or spice and wolf! Again not totally in the same genre but I enjoyed all of those a lot and maybe you would too :)
Maybe an unpopular opinion but literally ANY fate series. I've tried on several occasions to get into it but can never make it past the first few episodes. The writing is pretty bad and I don't even like the animation style or characters. I feel like I need to at least watch fate/stay night and fate/zero but I just can't force myself to like them.
My other unpopular opinion is that MHA isn't necessarily bad but I find it really boring. This is just based on the first three seasons bc thats all I've seen but the characters have wayyyy too much plot protection that I can't really get into the big fights cause I know the good guys are gonna win and that no one's gonna die. I just feel like its intensely geared towards children and I find myself being very bored watching it. I don't think its bad though, just not for me.
