not romance, but shares the story of someone being thrown into supernatural situations and i think a similar moodi'd consider my favorite to be either comedy or music stuff but romance is definitely up there

The art and character designs are really fun to look at, there isn't a single character I don't find likeable in one way or another, and the overarching storyline basically being "local boy keeps growing harem much to his dismay" is great lol. I'm not usually a fan of the "everyone is in love with the isekai mc" trope but in this it's actually fun. And I think it strikes a pretty good balance of comedy and serious during the more serious moments.
As for dislikes... there really isn't much but despite having started by complimenting the art I think there's also a lot to be desired there. I haven't read the manga but when I see some characters in it compared to the anime I really prefer their manga designs. And occasionally I get some pretty bad secondhand embarrassment watching it but I get that way too easily anyways lol.

Blood Blockade Battlefrontthis was a tough choice so i went with the one i've watched multiple times
i haven't finished the first one yet myself but i've heard nothing but good things and what i have seen was really good; second is one of my favorites so i can definitely reccomend it. they're both kinda downers though and seeing you aren't up for something more sad right now:

like... shishiou or mitsuba i guess. just not ishigami bc i feel like he's very average looking lol (though i am biased towards characters with those bangs u_u)
