If you really like naruto, like you know is gonna be a fave, I would say just watch it or try it, you can always start them and decide if you're interested or not, but if you're not that big of a fan skip it, specially the shippuden ones, they're long and sometimes don't even make sense, (there's one right before the last fight, skip it, no one wants to waste their time before the end) the last episodes are the novels tho so those ain't that bad and there are 2 fillers about kakashi and Itachi that are totally worth watching
watch it the first time it appears and the last time, that's it, maybe sometimes if I enjoy it a lot I won't skip but usually even if I really like it I skip it
