i'm not saying you're wrong, and sometimes i too prefer the adaptation over the original work. i guess it's just personal preference in this case, but i'd like eri to be what it is. not a fan of the endless loop of remaking/adapting/changing things for the sake of it. but with fujimoto's popularity, it's only a matter of time before this and fire punch gets an anime. the paneling in chainsaw is special, but in eri it is the entire narrative texture. it's made to be faux cinematic - emulating a camera shutter. you can obviously do this in a cinematic medium, as it's literally what it's emulating in the manga. but what gives it that x-factor feeling, is how he's doing this with literal still images. i'd be happy to be proven wrong of course
@Ampri 10/10 honestly - immaculate vibes with the colors and the serene forest. Love the gif too
@kaynobee I'm assuming you have your age in your bio, so I won't even click it. Your profile picture looks old-school-ish. Based on pretty much nothing at all, I'd say early to mid-twenties. 25?
that's fair, i think season 1 is a fantastic season as well. it introduced this world and its characters and them discovering their love for camping. what i liked about season 2 was that it could focus more on the camping itself and not just them learning and preparing for it. nadeshiko going out on her own, rin learning to enjoy camping with others more and the characters in general being more comfortable together. i also found it a little more funnier than the first season, and the continued development of the characters brought it up a notch for me. but again, both seasons are great.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3
I like the LN just fine, but this adaptation does not work for me at all
alright here's a couple of recs:
general recs that are personal favorites:
Sound Euphonium (slice of life, coming of age, kyo-ani, my favorite show)
SSSSGRIDMAN (this one has mystery elements, denpa, the second season is pretty mich perfect in my eyes, and the movie's not too shabby)
psychological/mystery/sci-fi related:
Haibane Renmei (kind of existential, kind of depressing, kind of really good)
ID INVADED (inception meets minority report, solid sci-fi murder mystery with cool visuals)
Kaiba (confusing, stylistic but rewarding)
Kubikiri Cycle The Blue Savant and the Nonsense User (agatha chrisie and studio shaft's love child, if you like monogatari you'll like this)
Memories (3-part anthology from some of the best directors of the old days)
ODDTAXI (must watch for any mystery fan)
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (worth watching for the movie, even if you don't enjoy the show that much)
Gosick (one of the most interesting romance mysteries IMO)
Mobile Police Patlabor 2 The Movie (can be watched as a stand-alone film)
The Tatami Galaxy (word vomit ground-hog day but better)
Hyouka (more slice of life, but still heavy on the mystery. more low stakes, mundane, but very sweet)
Lupin the Third The Woman Called Fujiko Mine (bonus if you like lupin, but very cool show)
Perfect Blue (pretty much any satoshi kon is worth watching, but this one is a classic)
I hear you, but that shouldn't matter. Usually, cours are listed on two separate pages. Here, all 16 episodes are listed on the same page (even if there is a long break in-between batches). There is still hope for Arc 6 in the near future. Promotional material for this season has featured Arc 6 characters, which makes a lot of LN readers believe we'll get Arc 6 sooner rather than later. Similar to how they did season 2, with part 1 and 2 being released within 6 months of each other.
