What an incredible ride that was. I really adored it, start to finish.
I think some of my favorite themes from the work were actually closer to the end than anything in the beginning or middle arcs. The exploration of the self, in particular. Shimeji's meeting with the Tall Woman in Chapter 48, and her reuniting with Yomikawa in Chapter 44 - both of those chapters gave me a lot to think about, and I found myself thinking about them several days after reading them.
Religious analysis is definitely not my strong suit, not by a long shot, but I would really love to hear a take or two by someone smarter than me on the matter. It's really interesting, especially considering that it was present even in the beginning and middle arcs to varying degrees.
