Finally, a Motomu episode. Ever since the movie, I wanted to learn more about him and his relation with Midori and it didn't disappoint, great episode.
But yeah, I'm also disappointed we didn't see their performance in the Sunrise Festival :-(
yeaa mann. They didn't have to go all out animating the lighting of the turning car in the scene where motomu and kumiko parts away. At least the half part just like s1, and the rest could've been a part of the movie compilation. I was badly waiting to see the performance.
I'm gonna let this slide because it's kyoani.
(and does anyone know what they might have played? Any references in LN)
IIRC the performance was largely skipped over in the LN as well. It's really not much different to how it was in the book.
