MAL was really more down than not when I switched to Anilist, I did so reluctantly at first, having used Anilist only as backup - but I quickly found new friends here who made me feel really welcome XD also there are a gazillion titles that are not listed on MAL - but here they are, especially when it comes to webtoons and such - I am very grateful for that. Am here to stay XD

used MAL for over 2.5 years, still using it as backup, but I am spending way more time here by now for three reasons: 1. MAL is more down than not these days 2. limited favorites until you pay 3. there are plenty titles missing from their database for reasons like "not available in print", welcome to the digital age <<
