I mean everyone would appreciate not getting confused because of the name ( doesn't include the phrase he remember / not mentionning the abbrv for it )
while many others are not interested in starting and catching up old series ( only interested in new weekly release series without a prequel maybe )
I love the idea but the real implemetation looks a lil bit hard since scoring single episodes normally require the episodes informations ( title , actual-release date )
while some animes have episodes titles under watch tab
many other animes misses that
same for manga ( every chapter needs its data ... )
N.B : this can be implemented easly if they deal with numbers of episodes only ( not episodes ) without any data about it . Example : You score [ One punch man - 1 = 10 ] ( 1 is just a number no real data behind it ) but not [ One punch man - Episode 1 - The strongest Man - 05/10/2015 = 10 ]
Imagine that you look for people scoring about One Punch Man and you find [ One Punch Man - 13 = 0.5 ] while there is no episode 13 ...
that way implementation is easy but users can score non existent episodes XD. you might say they should approve scores from 1-12 ( one punch man case ) but what is the solution with One Punch Man 3 Part 2 when it is releasing ? the system have to check if the episode is released or not ( which leads to same work as retrieving title and date release ) it is hard to this since there is a lot of streaming platforms or tv channels ...
Okay we can agree that approving scores for an episodes when it realses ( planned ) might work
but there will still be a problem with postponement , if an episode planning time is past but it didn't release for technical or other issues then people can still be able to score it ( while it is not even released actually )
For how i use the site , simply i usually watch airing anime each season sometimes daily sometimes not ( i don't stick to 1 anime ) and i open the site through bookmark on my page which goes directly to [ Anime List ] because simply homepage is slower and takes more time to update progress and load not like the list page.
For this to be implemented it is not this HARD nor this IMPORTANT and it is a WIN/WIN situation since no information is going to be lost ( airing information is gonna be kept either by green or orange* ) and not hard since it is already implemented on the home page.
which means implementing this is giving additional information with the minimum work.
anyway was just a suggestion.
Yes I know the homepage does separate completed and airing anime and also does add a little red line under those which are airing and you are late on progress ( those are the same that i suggested to give them an orange dot in the anime list )
but for me who never open the homepage it makes sense to have the same information in the anime list
"""Anime made for children only (best examples: Pokémon, Digimon and Sailor Moon), which is why Anime was made for children.""""
you said that anime is for kids
did you change the side :'( @shaerri
"""I don't think you understand, you're young and some people tried telling you before me but I'll try to explain it again ^^
I believe it's a common misconception that "anime is for kids". I don't know where you're from, but about 20 years ago many countries outside of Japan started broadcasting Anime made for children only (best examples: Pokémon, Digimon and Sailor Moon), which is why western countries especially think Anime was made for children.
But as we all know, most anime is based on Manga. I did some research and the first mangas as we know today were (possibly) published by Kitazawa Rakuten , and as far as I know, his first "stories" were published in a newspaper and featured political themes (not so much aimed at children, is it?) - I won't link all the sources, but only after his manga drawings aimed at adults did he start to publish manga for children as well.
The oldest anime I found is Kobu Tori - it's based on a folk tale from Japan and is aimed at people from every age group. (Whether this counts as "anime" or not is debatable - but my point still stands).

So you see, anime was never made for children. It's literally the animation of the stories that were only available as mangas, which were first made for adults.
An opinion is, for example: "Fairy Tail is better than Bleach".
"Anime is for kids" isn't an opinion - it's factually wrong. Hope you understand the difference now with my explanation.
Have a nice day!"""
is not that enough to understand that ANIME IS FOR KIDS
@shaerri
yeah now i understand that bleach is better than fairy tail and anime is for kids and children at the same time
listen here guys what i am saying is that ANIMATION IS MADE FOR KIDS
