from what i understand, takopi became a narator in the new timeline. As to why they still have a little bit memories of takopi, someone says that the camera can return to the memories that they capture. But using takopi "Happy Powers", he used his memories combined with the picture to return to that time and only the people that involved with takopi gets the reminder of takopi.
