I delved a bit into 70's anime and most of them are campy 'guy given superpowers' plots. But i was pleasantly surprised as this has a really nice plot and a great main character. Only issue is that the animations holds it back. It was pretty popular and git a remake 6 years later in 1979. BUT i think it would be cool to see a modern adaptation of it.
If i think of more i'll edit this post.
