i used to hate jojo and dropped it half way thru part 4, came back to it 2 years later and enjoyed the hell out of it. part 5 just seemed like it was what jojo was always meant to be and he perfected the craft. its not my favourite jojo part but its my favourite anime adaptation of a jojo part

i feel like oda isn't the kind of writer to just leave shit hanging like that. Also, you only know the story through some spoilers so you don't see the whole picture of where all the major parties of the story are. Just keep enjoying one piece and trust the process.

Oda makes luffy grow when he needs luffy to grow. If oda wants luffy to take down an emperor he'll write the story so he takes down an emperor. It's not like oda doesn't have any control over the story and we already know more or less how it's going to end.
