Their relationship is a huge part of the show, and while it started out very uncomfortably, it feels like it has a lot of potential angles to explore. The scene where he lets her suck his blood and then promises to kill her if she ever lost control is peak of their relationship imo. This is the first time she is vulnerable before him, and he doesn't take advantage of that. She's no longer a toy to him, he doesn't mock her, he doesn't force her into the suck just for self pleasure, he is giving her an outlet. Meanwhile from her side, for the first time she sees him as potential help. He dedicated his life to saving vampires, and now she finally sees him as that, and not as a nuisance. Even if he can't undo her mind control, he will keep Luca safe from her. Like this is Good Shit, This Is Spice But then it takes a nosedive immediately after. All nuance and chemistry we Just built is replaced with both of them being unambiguously into each other and being embarrassing about it. Like come on guys i know you both have trauma about this but fucking grow up /j

BECKHaven't read the manga, but it's wild how so many people see one trope they don't like in the first episode and immediately throw the show in the trash. If the guy was the protag and the first 5 minutes had a moment of the girl breasting boobily down the stairs, the comments would've been filled with PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK. Yall knew what you were about to watch before you opened the episode, don't act like the people who show up to a musical and then proceed to complain about everyone bursting into songs.

The rating thing is probably because I don't bother to finish stuff I don't like, sometimes I don't even add things i only watched a few episodes of so they don't get in the way when im looking up seiyuu roles and only show stuff from my list, for exampleThat seems fair, although I couldve sworn higurashi was a popular thing back in the day. Still agree with the tiring to watch thing, fate and durarara are particularly hard to recommend to people who are usually lesser weebs than i am, and with stuff like hourou musuko i don't even bother to try.
