This was the first anime I watched online, I'm actually glad I started with something good over something bad. Hunter x Hunter 2011
The first anime I watched that wasn't online was this one.Soul Eater
Isekai Fantasy
ReZero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
Medieval time fantasy
Akatsuki no Yona
Romance fantasy
Akagami no Shirayukihime
This anime will give you a fun time.
Ishuzoku Reviewers
Cross country or just running was never a thing that I thought of trying, but this anime and its portrayal of students learning and striving to run when they rarely or never did was really inspirational.
Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru
Mafia and gang fights, plently of action.
BANANA FISH
More drama centered
Hoshiai no Sora
Focuses on how to express emotions through music, I had a blast watching this one and it hits well when it is supposed too.
Given
This one is good, but I don't know if it has yuri.
NANA
@KenOh30 6/10, KenOh rolls off pretty nice, but i'm not a fan of numbers in usernames, aside from that it seems pretty simple
@littlefemmefatale
Fuck: Faye Valentine
Marry: Akane Tsunemori
Kill: Ban
@rxdiantfaith besides absolutely loving haikyuu, you like a mix of the energetic and hyper characters that jump around everywhere, and the cool, calm, and collected characters that think things through.
@SasoriNeko
12 - Inosuke Hashibira
The wild boar, that got tamed
These three I'm going to give are each different, I'm not sure if one can consider them underrated, but I haven't seen many people talking about any of these.
Tongari Boushi no Atelier
This one is magic centered, but it has a good spin to it that changes things from the common magic formula other shows and literature works take. Careful with spoilers.
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
The Kawai Complex Guide is a very fun read, for me personally it's the best romance work I have read, or seen up to now. It involves the life of the mc living in a boarding house along multiple intricate personalities, and his high school crush is also living there. It's also really funny and the jokes and gags it has don't get stale over time.
bel Blatt
Ubel Blatt is very similar to Berserk (from what I have been told), it takes the betrayal aspect and gives it a supernatural touch, focusing on the characters thirst for revenge no matter the cost. it's in a fantasy setting so it has otherworldly creatures, magic and other races besides humans.
I'm not sure what it is that you are looking for, or even if you are looking for something, but I tried to make each entry as varied as possible for you. I hope you enjoy one of these if not all :).
For a more drama romance anime I'd recommend:
Yagate Kimi ni Naru Cross Game
Cross game involves sports, but it's more focused on the drama and romance aspects.
If you are looking for something with more comedy (these still have drama, but not as heavily), I would recommend:
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
Kaichou wa Maidsama
I second this man, this anime is quite complicated, but if you stick through with it it's a very fun experience and a good watch, having lots of vibrant colour for its world and a good animation to boot.
