The first one was Violet Evergarden, the mother and daughter episode.

I don't like when the series end with a movie, however I'm glad they will adapt it till the end. There are 4 volumes left, of course they will skip a lot but it was the same for a good movies like A Silent Voice and Saekano movie which they put 6/7 volumes in 2 hours, so I think the movie will be better if they cut some less interesting content. The movie scheduled for next year btw.

What about Chihayafuru, Madhouse released 3 seasons of it despite it's not a successful series like NGNL, Also they didn't made S2 of One Punch Man because it wasn't enough source material to make another one, and when the producers decided to make S2 for it, the animators/staffs they have worked on the first season were working at that time with Bones on Mob Psycho 2, then the producers hurried and introduced it to J.C Staff.
