Well I prefer anime and manga because of its art style. I love shoujo art style mostly. It is really pretty.
I also think the plots in Western cartoons and comics are stupid. (Ex: Over the Garden Wall, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb) Except for things like Archie comics, and DC/Marvel comics.
