bl JUST being romance gets boring quickly. but i dont really require another genre.

yes, i do like other genres overlapping into bl, really as long as it is bl and somewhat interesting, i will read it. moreso, it is more important to ask what genres i don't like to have in my bl: omegaverse is a broad genre i refuse to read.

is it meant to be a parody that does wrong at times? a parody of the harem type shows by having them act as extreme tropes, but sometimes it isnt a parody in the sense it gives weird fan service which goes against the thing it is meant to be?
