I'm just gonna end my comments on this thread and end with this:

People that watch dubbed could say the exact opposite of what you say and it'll make sense still. Some people like different things.

whenever I watch something dubbed, its because I'm half paying attention to it-- ex: while I'm washing dishes. Washing dishes doesn't take too much attention, but enough to where I can't keep up with the subtitles, BUT also enough where I can still keep up with the story and what is going on.

But that's just me. Some people just find it better because they just don't like having to read subtitles.

a silent voice: I agree with what you're saying about a silent voice. After as many times as I've watched it, I've wanted to lower it just a little bit, (to where--- who knows)

your name: I think what makes it higher rated for me is the music. 10/10 music for me and that I just got absorbed by it I feel like.

Horimiya: Okay you have me there, It is average, it's only average. But I think it hit some of the things I really like in anime. I don't really have an example of it but I agree the rating could be lower.
