So Samurai Flamenco, on the surface, seems pretty innocuous, and for the first few episodes it plays out exactly as one would expect based on the synopsis. However, once it gets going, it starts going off the rails with the wildest plot twists one can imagine. Just don't expect it to be weird immediately.
Samurai Flamenco
Inferno Cop feels like an old Adult Swim cartoon in all the right ways.

My DressUp Darling
I don't know if I'd describe them as "heavily" revolving around art, but the setting of both are art schools and it does come up so I'll mention them anyways:
Honey and Clover
Hidamari Sketch
I was also thinking of posting some music related ones, but there's way too many of those to post
It's just fun. It's pretty derivative of Evangelion in a lot of ways, but that just makes it feel more like a parody of it (though I don't know how intentional that was)
Dual Parallel Trouble Adventure
also some lower rated music videos that I gave high scores to:
GAL Otoko Sengen
Nagisa no Brazilian
It has some of the slowest pacing I have ever seen in any piece of fiction. I have a lot of patience and Joe has really good payoffs for sitting through the long buildup in each arc, but I wouldn't blame someone for dropping it early on. I mean, the first boxing match in this boxing anime doesn't even happen until after about 15 episodes
I'd be down to try these

Kanon 2006
Planetarian
KONOSUBA Gods blessing on this wonderful world
The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated

Darling in the FranXX's first half is overrated and the second half is over hated. I thought it was a consistent 6-7/10 for the entire runtime with no real spikes in quality one way or the other
I don't really care for the original Ghost in the Shell films, even though I love the tv series and other cyberpunk media
JJK is good, but I don't understand why people think it's that unique or different from shounen that came before it. It's pretty standard for the genre
The first half of Steins;Gate is great and I don't understand the "first half is bad, second half is where it gets good" meme
Zeta Gundam is the weakest of the "original trilogy" of Gundam (still good tho). Also ZZ is good and I have no idea why Gundam fans hate it
Stone Ocean is the best JoJo's part
Solo Leveling does most of the things people complain about generic isekai, but because it's not literally an isekai people give it a pass
SDF Macross > Macross DYRL
My Neighbor Totoro is boring
The FLCL sequels aren't nearly as bad as people say (except Grunge), and Alternative is actually really good
SAO is just okay. It's not great, but it's also not the worst thing ever. It's the most 5/10 thing I've ever seen
I do not know why MahoAko is as well received as it is. It took me multiple attempts to even finish episode 1 and most of my friends who tried it also hated it, yet it's one of the highest rated shows for the current season
Trigun Stampede is bad. Call me an uptight millennial blinded by nostalgia all you want, but it is NOT a good reboot
