spoilers for volume 5 of the light novel just to illustrate how gay this shit gets
the entire reason that the world of revolution exists is because, tldr, irl rae solves global warming by pretty much becoming god, and creating an endless loop of death and rebirth for humanity as a solution to global warming inevitably fucking us into nonexistence, because she was so obsessed with irl claire (who she was dating and coerced into a relationship by only solving human extinction if claire would date her) that she wanted to remarry her an endless amount of times, which drives her insane because claire starts to love her less and less after enough loops happen, with irl rae remembering everything because shes god, and claire forgetting everything as shes not god, and irl rae uses her status as god to try and drive humanity to extinction because claire doesnt love her anymore, and also irl rae has like 3-4 clones of herself, with the rae weve been following throughout the story being one of them, and i think the claire weve been following this whole time is irl claire but i forgot
this the poorly described "short" version by the way
it goes way way deeper than this shit
and despite not being super gay in the traditional way
i think the lengths that are gone to in the story over this relationship is the gayest shit i have ever seen
i enjoy watching dubs.
i feel as if i can pick up on the characters tone of voice and emotion more easily if its in my native language.
its also nice that i can focus on the show without having to give my attention to the subtitles at the bottom.
and its also easier for me to distinguish what character is talking, because i have a hard time associating a japanese voice with a character, because they sound too alike to me. if the characters all speak english, then i have a way easier time knowing whos talking.
also this is a weird me thing, but i feel more of a connection with characters who speak english than ones who speak japanese, where i have to read subtitles to understand them.
there are dubs i dislike, like chunnibyou and watamote, but on the whole i prefer dubs.
thank you for coming to my ted talk.

your rating system is wack
but the gif youve got is pretty good
7/10 bio
the lack of fight scenes is understandable
considering what this anime was advertised to be over a year ago
and is trying to achieve
and ill even accept it not being very funny for the first episode
because its just setting some the foundation and groundwork of the rest of the show
but where in gods name is the fucking fanservice
taking the fanservice out of strike witches is like taking the second amendment out of america
you can still call it the same thing after doing that
but is it really the same thing anymore
@onexonli

because i cant be fucked to watch banana fish myself
