At the time, I thought "Wow. Joe looked like me forreal forreal" and he was throwing HANDS? Nah. I had to lock in and see what it was about, and I honestly had a good time with it.

A friend was talking about the events that occurred in the first episode, looked it up, and learned that the Kingsman movies heavily inspired it. Loved those, so I dived into it and never looked back.

Still gotta watch the OVA and whatever other mixed media this has.

A former friend talked about it, and since I was already into Vocaloid, I decided to give it a shot.

Ten years later, it still holds me in the fiercest chokehold of my life (affectionately). The music, characters, themes, and aesthetics shaped me for better or worse -- and I was even fortunate enough to collect all of its manga.

Also, Konoha Best Boy.

It is pretty rare, but I enjoy things that revolve around different relationships and the emotions that bloom from them.

I'll give this a rewatch since it's been a minute. It might not be the same as before, but I doubt that'll change how I genuinely feel about it. <3

Watching this episode was extremely frustrating, and supporting either Will or Sion is hard when they're both underwhelming and annoying respectively. For the time being, it showed me that there's nothing significant in its writing and shouldn't be the focus when watching this going forward.

And it is true to the bitter end. I didn't know what to expect with this being Yoko Taro and Jin (Shizen no Teki-P), but I kept my expectations mild and was still disappointed.

The CGI's not bad, but it's also not good. The designs for each character are probably the worst Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater, Fire Force) has done. The music's decent. The plot and script... Well, it isn't good.

It's only the first episode, but first impressions are everything -- and it is a really bad one.
I'll still watch, but man...
