And in the manga, he even tells her it's not an age thing so I am not sure why people think they won't end up together. Even the main girl he likes can tell that they both are developing feeling for each other

That true and another thing people aren't considering or at least what I think they aren't is that those two are the main characters of the anime everyone else is supporting so he won't end up with any of the other girls and I just hope that they do end up together it's a decent story.

I'll shoot down what you just said since everyone likes to throw fucking morals into an anime show. We have people who in real life are 18 years olds and will end up with someone who might be 40 years old. That might be weird to most but if the two people actually love each other then it's not wrong you can't help what the heart wants.

It was an amazing first episode. The story is interesting and the animation isn't bad at all especially the plane moment. I see everyone shitting on the show and I just laugh because we're only one episode in and they haven't even given the plot time to develop. Also, people are saying that they don't understand what they just watched which is crazy because the first episode wasn't hard to follow at all.

I mean not really you gotta remember this is a light novel anime so they want to hype it up so that you can go and buy the light novel.

The story for this show doesn't make sense, the cast is too big ( I could care less about 95% of the cast). The only takeaway from this anime is that I know the demons want to kill the elves. I hope that Crunchyroll doesn't pick this anime up for a season 2. This has been a waste of 23 weeks of my life.

Yoshida will end up with Sayu, not Gotou since she is a supporting character and definitely would need more screen time, Unless this author screws the story over then it will go this way
