Would it be possible to have a read-only view of the submissions in the future? Personally I'm not likely to remember the submission since I make them when I see a discrepancy in info. And then I don't see the status of the submission until way later. For example today I was looking at the status of a submission I made two years ago. I definitely don't remember what I wrote.
I think it would be useful to have a feature to mitigate that.
It is good, definitely. I watched it all in basically one night, but even though I enjoyed binging it, I can't say that it was much better than average. The premise is interesting and that's what kept the story so interesting, but it kind of felt flat in some parts. Halfway between very good and pretty good, so 7.5/10
Listen to your friend and watch it, unless you want to watch a 10/10
@Lemeryie curious about this one.
Blue Period
Here are some stand-alone anime I found were very emotional. I would've added JJBA, AOT and MiA but they're all series and none of them are finished.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Colorful The Motion Picture
Japan Sinks 2020

@Kulkuljator You liked how she grew as a person. also cute girl w cute personality

It’s the kind of confusing where you gotta sit back and digest it. The story isn’t straightforward at all. If I didn’t know that the story is confusing I wouldn’t have paid much attention tbh but anyway
Below is basically a summarised explanation of everything that happens. I hope it makes sense. Strong spoiler alert though, read at your own risk.
Jesse wakes up missing parts of his memory. All he remembers is Law pushing him off a cliff, but Law introduces himself to Jesse as his lover. The setting is very eerie, and being put in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable situation Jesse stays on his guard. He especially doesn’t trust Law, since the things he says and the way he acts in his fragmented memories conflict. We find out about the cause of the memory loss (Moritat) and Law tells Jesse that he will wait for him to beg for his memories to be erased again. From this point on, the nightmares get mixed in with reality. Jesse doesn’t know what’s real and what isn’t. We don’t know either. Eventually, Jesse has no choice but to rely on Law. When Jesse chooses Law, he wakes up. Turns out, NONE of that was real. It was all a dream, a simulation that was running for less than a day. Not everything that was said in the dream is false though, so it’s not like the story flipped completely.
After all this, we get a flashback from Law’s POV. We finally see Jesse’s past and his memories. We find out that holy shit they’re both really fucked up in different ways, they’re perfect for each other. The end.
If it wasn’t done so well it would’ve turned out really convoluted cause it was plot twist after plot twist. Really loved it though.
The Tokyo Ghoul anime is good in many ways. Personally, I found the first season to be the only great season that I'd consistently recommend to anyone who is into the psychological/thriller/adventure genres. After the first season, the show is not bad, it's just not top tier. It's still good. Now Tokyo Ghoul :re is different from root in a handful of ways:
Here's one thing :re has in common with root and the first season:
The soundtrack is still phenomenal.
In the end, I'd still recommend you read the manga rather than watch the anime. If you do end up deciding to do that though, it's better if you watch the anime first before you read the manga, it's harder to watch the anime after reading the manga in my experience.
I love the anime and can’t wait for the next season. To those that are saying Rudeus’s behaviour is disgusting: yeah it is, but that’s what makes the show better. Our main character is a perverted manipulative creep and it’s shown in the anime. The show doesn’t shy away from showing how disgusting he is and that’s great because nobody can change instantly just because they were put into a different body and environment and given a different name. We’re seeing all of Rudeus’s progress from being a shut-in.
