Didn't say anything about spoilers. Talking about the general smugness of
"Cause Qiffery's academic philosphy is based on freewill.
And also he knows Agott... unlike a lot of people jumping to conclusions here."
And some others in this topic, like:
"I'll be here to defend Agott against the surface-level anime watchers."
This is a discussion of the anime, as it releases. Not of the season as a whole, or the series as a whole.
Whenever the redemption arc comes out, people will comment on that.
And why are you getting upset over hyperbolic jokes regarding people that don't exist anyway?
He knowing her is expected, and actually something that makes the situation worse, not better though.
No one here is saying the show is shit.
The thread is about commenting about the episode itself. In this episode and the one before, Qiffreys actions have been questionable, so nothing wrong with questioning them.
Of course especulation of what's to come is natural in these sort of threads, such as saying that probably this will be addressed in the next episode.
Now, manga readers having read what happens next and gloating about it for some reason... is just weird. Perhaps go talk about stuff considering what has only happened in the manga so far...in the manga forum?
They seem to be able to put restrictions on heroes. After Venetim's sentence was shown, there was also a scene where he wanted to give hints about what he knows to xylo, but was unable to outright say it. It does seem odd that he, of all people, would be turned to a hero though. I mean, for Xylo and the others, it is a way to gain a powerful tool since they have strong abilities, but Venetim's ability is to bullshit people, so not sure how that is a good hero to create and control lol
To me the ending was a big let down. First we had Aqua, now we have Ruby -- hell even the producer guy -- sacrificing their lives to find shit out... Akane randomly sees a dude and pieces everything together. I mean, she sort of has a record of being like this, so it's not out of character or anything. It just is a big letdown storywise.
Just watched this. It is at the same time more realistic and dumber than usual. More realistic because in the usual trope, the MC is OBVIOUSLY OP for everyone in the story, not just the watcher, and the evil party just refuses to acknowledge. In this one, he is hiding his OPness, so it makes sense for the hero to get a big head and look down on him. The MC here is literally at fault for making the hero overestimate himself, since he is buffing him up without letting him know.
