I have two
1) the dead poet's society- I loved watching it as a kid and it teaches you a lot of life lessons, plus you can really analyze the poems and find deeper meaning in the movie
2) But im a cheerleader- one of my favorites because its about lesbians
both are free to watch on youtube so that's a plus (depending on where you live)

Personally, I was very iffy on the anime. I thought the plot was interesting. however, I can not recall anything that happened.
