Absolutely amazing narration, this adds so much dept to Hatsunes character, sad that some people will ignore all of that and say this ruied the whole anime because of shipping discourse
My problem is, how are we gonna solve Sakiko going overseas and a posible real Uika crashout (her sister stole her dream and identity, how is she gonna fell about that?) in just 2 episodes, would suck if after everything this show ends in an unsatisfactory note

Cn and jp fans where way more upset about e12 because they probably did read the novels. The jp sides seems to still be mostly positive about this season tho

But in the movie they only get to the Kansai competition wich probably wasnt that far away

Anyway this was a 10/10 finale for a 10/10 show, this season was wayy better than i expected, it would have been better if it was 2 cour but im still happy with what we got and how much kyoani elevated this story. Thank you Takeda, Yamada, Ishihara and Kyoto Animation. Hibike!Euphonium will always be dear to me, I´ll never forget how warm it sounds.

As a queer person who also loves kumirei and hate kumishuu: yuribait its not a thing, no matter what this show will always be about kumiko and reinas relationship and is so much more than jus something-bait. im also frustrated about the hairpin but it literally does not matter, romance is irrelevant this season, why would we focus on it? lets just talk about how wonderfull the finale was.
And just so you know, kumirei its not a kyoani thing, thats a lie made up by ppl who didnt read the novels, ask anyone who actually did read them and they will thell you they are gayer than the anime

Givin the soli to Mayu matches really well with the theme of the season and Kumikos arc about moving on from music while separating from Reina way more than just givin it to kumiko like it happened in the novel Really tough choice to make for Kyoani but I think they made the rigth call, the callbacks to S1 are also really good.
and honestly, idk about the skipped performances, we are getting the one that matters next week, i hope this ep being mostly original shows some people that this season is not rushed, they are using their limited time well

This was so good, favorite episode from the season so far along with the 2nd ep, It seems they are already setting up what I think will be the 2 major conflicts of the season, the auditions and Kumikos future, im so hyped

I liked the episode bath scene included But yeah its kinda odd how we went from fanservice to drama and a cliffhanger in a single episode. About the scandal, Im pretty sure the old dude is Yui´s dad

When talking about the ending people tend to only mention Erens character, while I still think its cringe af imo. My main problem Is Ymir (The founder, not the lesbian) as a whole and the mistery behind the titans suck, the titans existed for 2 thousand year because some stupid cringy love shit?? sorry but its ass. Also EreMika sucks and always sucked in my opinion, I hate when nekketsu mangakas try to push romance for pure fanservice when they dont know how to write a good one. yes, im talking about you too, Kishimoto
Again, not the worst ending ever, but it could have been way better, I dont want to speculate but I dont know if this was Isayamas original ending, and it seems he didnt have enough time during the manga to pull it.

Its not the worst ending ever, but very dissapointing for a series that was an absolute 10/10 the first 3 seasons. Thats why when the ending came out a lot of ppl (me included) overreacted and thougth the ending was way worse than it actually was, plus the manga doesnt leave some things clear. Sadly this made the snk fanbase turn into the most annoying shithole ever and made the love I had for the manga decay, it may not be one of my favorites anymore but still wild seing one of the first anime I started in like 2014 finally end.

I dont think Hibike is yuribait either but Kumiko and Reina IS teased as romantic, no best friends are confessing their love (Kumikos own words) to each other
KumiRei can be considered yuribait, but yeah there are other pairings in the series like Nozomizo and Asukao that can are yuri/have yuri subtext

When I first joined I didn't like/understand the UI but after moving from MAL I started liking it.
Also like how there's no limit on favorites, there's more manwha, manhua and Ligth Novels in the database and the diferent rating options.
And probably less toxic than MAL

I mean.. this really depends on how good you are at reading words only, personally I struggle paying attention while reading books/novels so manga Is much faster for me, never really read a Ligth Novel tho
