Eeeeeh, don't bother with Tokyo Ghoul ... The opening is a banger, but the execution of the anime and the next seasons are... disappointing, to say the least.
This movie Kimi to Nami ni Noretara was not really memorable tbh. If you have a spare hour and a half, maybe try other movies...
After reflecting a little more upon this, I think the overall winner is vibes. It's the way the media makes you feel, the atmosphere, that makes it memorable. For me, the only good Danganronpa is the first game - Happy Trigger Havoc. You can say whatever you want to try and persuade me, but if you mention Danganronpa, the only images that'll appear on my head are the first game's. Basically, the feels are of great importance.
It's a mix of both. Writting also conveys a certain vibe, for example, Attack on Titan. Three of my favorites series are classic FMA, classic Kino no Tabi and classic Hunter x Hunter because they have both great writting (more leaning FMA) and great vibe/atmosphere (more leaning KnT and HxH). Another great example of how vibe/atmosphere turns something good into something excellent is Aku no Hana anime.
@Millufer
I'm thinking the anilist.co/anime/4654 series.

17-19?
Much better episode this time. CGI was kept to a bare BARE minimum like pedestrians walking from a top-down view, almost imperceptible, so I was fine by this. Let's hope MAPPA heard our complaints and we will just get this tiny little CGI here and there or never again. Although some scenes looked/felt a little weird, it's still better than episode 1.
