i was really surprised how much his mom looked like mari but i think it was meant to be for mari to relate to her/see what her life could be like in the future if she stays with him. i didn't think of it in any other way til i read these comments lol
also i am wondering how high are the chances for a season 2, or if anybody knows where the anime ends in the manga. i wanna see how their relationship plays out now that they are official!
For me this was the worst episode yet of this season. The video game thing.. The way they threw that topic in our face right after a cute little "will they won't they" moment was so fucked up. It turned me off completely from watching this show any longer. There should have been a warning in the beginning of the episode or some kind of notice so people who cannot handle such a dark topic (in POV mind you) could skip this. It caught me completely off guard and I got dizzy and nauseous. So yeah I freaking hated it.
Did they change the studio or something? Is it all the same people that made season 1? it feels like a completely different anime tbh. Some shots look unfinished in an unattractive way, and some look rushed with minimal attention to the actual characters themselves. There were times where I genuinely went "wtf that's not marin!".. It was already noticeable in the trailer but I did not expect the show would change this much... It feels like it's leaning more towards the ecchi/humor than the cute romance/friendship heartwarming storyline from season 1..
I still liked it but I will change my expectations of season 2...
I might be alone in this opinion but the art is awful... All backgrounds look like photos with some quick AI filter. In many scenes, half of the characters have no face, and when they are close up, the face is uneven or looks unfinished.
I genuinely feel like I'm just looking at a storyboard draft. It looks unfinished, and even unapproved by whoever got the final say. I'll go as far as saying this is unacceptable, as someone who got into anime for the art. Gonna have to drop this after only a couple mins. This could have been an absolute feast for the eyes had they put more effort into it. Whatever this style or trend is called, I do not like it and will go out of my way to avoid it /:
@furuba wait so theres nothing in the manga that isnt in the anime? its one of my fave anime so i thought i could get more "new scenes" from the manga, but if thats not the case should i just skip it?
are things explained better at least? :o
mine was nana. i tried to rewatch it now but hadn't realized it's actually so depressing
