If a series requires you to pause and rewatch just so you can understand something like this, it failed.

I think the problem is not whenever they used rotoscoping or not, its the fact that some scenes in the first half look to similar to rotoscoping making it look somewhat uncanny next to other normal scenes.

30 chapters of a single fight? At least fact check your claims before saying some bullshit, this fight started in chapter 215, 14 chapters of a fight, each chapter is 15 pages, and some of these chapters have little to no dialogue, now if you compare this to the lenght from denji vs reze in the movie its probably going to be about the same if not less due to the dialogue. It just sounds like your want fights to last 3 pages or something.

I read more weekly manga then you've read manga, just because something new isn't happening every chapter doesn't mean its dragging, the chapters are 15 pages long, this "dragging" that so many are complaining would take you a couple of minutes to read from beginning to end, most of it is a fight. When this gets an adaptation, all of this will be in 1 episode.

It's very obvious that the vast majority of the people complaining about this chapter and the overall pacing of part 2 are not used to reading weekly manga, specially when each chapter is so short.

The art style is really off-putting to me, unless this has some 10/10 writing I'm skipping it.

The romance is so rushed, I felt the same way from when they killed Saran, we barely get to know these characters and this series makes it seem like we've known them for way longer. This confession felt more like the end to a season rather than half way through it.
