Feels almost out of place having a female protagonist of a Gundam series. I'm not interested and nothing looks special about it outside of that.

Adam from SK8 is a really great character, even more so since he's voiced by Dio's voice actor. People hate him because of episode 5 but I ignore the haters. He's a great character and I love him

It really is pretty good but I'm guessing the unfair low scores are because of straight guys getting offended at sexy anime men. It's getting low scores on MAL too and I don't understand why if someone is offended by hot anime guys they can just not watch it.

Lots of variety of anime and watches it very often so definitely weeb levels of anime fan. Could use a bit more hidden gems of anime series instead of what's popular (not that that's bad of course, popular anime is popular for a reason). Could use more male favorite characters but most of the favorites are all pretty good characters.

and to be somewhat fair I think "date" has a bit of a different meaning in Japanese. isn't it just along the lines of "a meeting" in terms of meaning? I guess it's just me but I get more of a friendly rival vibe between the two, probably because I have a bias in that I really like rival relationships and characters who seek out competition and strength. I guess we'll have to watch more episodes to see for sure.

I don't really see the predator vibes people seem to be talking about either. Didn't he ask to touch Langa instead of going right in? I guess some people might be thinking it's a sexual thing when Adam is just interested in Langa's skateboarding. Just me I guess but I find it kinda weird how people keep calling him a predator.

I'm still watching it only because of the theme song, the mech design is a bit different and likable, and I like the cute main character. Was really looking forward to a more interesting mecha anime that didn't have too many heavy politics like Gundam, but I can't find myself to pay attention to this one very easily. I'll finish it, but I think the score I'll end up giving it will be pretty low.

And yeah, it is like Gurren Lagann but with a lot less epicness

Same, Adam is such a good character. I don't understand all the hate for him. He's creating an interesting conflict in the show and without him this show would be pretty boring.

I feel bad for Reki but MAN the ending......the anime is really pushing Langa and Adam together for more S battles and I think it's making the show really interesting. One person said that Langa might even join the bad side but I doubt that'll happen. I'm sure Reki and Langa's misunderstanding will be resolved (even though it's Reki's fault for not communicating his feelings to Langa), but honestly anything can happen.

How is that sad? Are people not allowed to like someone solely for their looks? It's not like he has a bad personality or backstory, I think it's fine for people to like someone just for how they look. Anime is meant to be visually appealing after all
